Definition of grammar: my personal hell. I hate grammar. Punctuation and spelling I understand, it "clicks". I can remember it. Grammar I cannot remember, and I don't understand. I literally have to stop, pull out my note cards and see if I need to use "who" or "whom." I begin to re-think my story, and over think my words. As I re-check, I change my proper grammar to incorrect grammar. My simple story becomes a mechanical nightmare, a Frankenstein. Why grammar, why? Good grammar is a "must," but does it have to be a must for me?
